Savitri (Moushumi Chatterjee) falls for Vijay (Mithun Chakraborty), who saves her sister Shamshera from a dacait (Amrish Puri).
They become quite close and then decide to marry. Shamshera kills Vijay before the wedding can take place, and Savitri gives birth to a baby boy, but she is told that the kid was born dead.
She eventually marries Thakur Prem Singh (Navin Nischal), the man who is responsible for Shamshera’s blindness and imprisonment.

A Twist in the Story
