Caroline Dinenage Bio
Dame Caroline Julia Dinenage, well known as Caroline Dinenage, is a British politician of the Conservative Party. At the 2010 general election, she was elected as Member of Parliament for Gosport and then re-elected in 2015, 2017, and 2019. She has got the title of Baroness Lancaster of Kimbolton.
She was born on 28 October 1971 in Portsmouth, Hampshire, England. Currently, she is 50 years old as of 2021. Her Nationality is British and she works for the Conservative party.
Early life and career beginning
Her father’s name is Fred Dinenage who was a television presenter and her mother’s name is Beverly Summers. She completed her early education from a Wykeham House private school for girls named Oaklands RC Comprehensive School in Waterlooville. After that, she went to Swansea University to study Politics and English.
She established her first manufacturing company aged 19 and was a Company Secretary of Dinenages Ltd for about 20 years. Her career started in 1998 when she was elected as the youngest member of the Winchester District Council.

Parliamentary career
At the 2005 general election, she stood as the Conservative Party candidate for Portsmouth South. In 2010, she was elected as a Member of Parliament for Gosport. Then from 2012 to 2015 she worked on the Business, Innovation, and Skills select committee and was appointed as a Small business investor by the Prime Minister.
From 2010 to 2014, she served as the vice-chair of the All-party Parliamentary group for armed forces and was also a member of the NATO parliamentary assembly of the UK. As a justice minister, she was praised for her swift action in introducing important changes to cremation regulation. And as her role as Minister for Women and Equalities, she implemented the Gender Pay Gap reporting regulations which came in April 2017.
From 2017 to 2018, she served as Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Family Support, Housing, and Child maintenance. Then from 2018 to 2020, she was Minister of State for Social Care. From 2020 to 2021, she served as the Minister of State for Digital and Culture.
Personal life
She married Carlos Gar reta who was a Royal Navy officer and the couple has two children. Then in February 2014, she married Mark Lancaster also known as Baron Lancaster of Kim bol ton who is a former MP and now he is a member of the House of the Lords.
